Our Service
Parenting a troubled child can feel lonely and overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. Our online Developmental Vacation® course gives you gentle guidance and practical tools to bring calmer days and stronger connections at home.
Created by child behavior specialists and therapists, it combines empathy with clear, step-by-step strategies you can use right away. Whether you’re navigating meltdowns, defiance, school refusal, or anxiety, you’ll gain confidence and a plan.
With flexible lessons, live coaching, and a caring community, you’ll learn what works—and why it works. We’re here to help your family move from daily crisis to steady progress.
What to Expect
Our program for parents is a self-paced virtual course designed for concerned families of children who have stalled in their developmental progression and are struggling with anxiety, immaturity, or loss of direction.
Since 1987, Dr. Daniel Sanderson’s Developmental Vacation® Model has been implemented and practiced by thousands of parents, families, and professional therapists. Now, for the first time, this virtual training is available as a self-guided course for at-home use.
Drawing on 35 years of successful treatment experiences, this method uses nature and nurture as settings for experiential therapy and transformative change. Unlike traditional approaches focused on diagnoses and quick fixes, this program seeks true understanding and healing for emotionally complex children.
The virtual curriculum is available for individuals, small groups, or therapy groups, allowing participants to work at their own pace. Additional coaching options include face-to-face instruction for parents and clinical supervision for licensed therapists. The program goes beyond surface-level solutions to address the root causes of developmental delays and emotional complexity.
Key Benefits

The key benefits include:

Common Questions
No. It complements therapy by giving parents practical, at-home strategies that support clinical work. If your child has safety concerns, contact emergency services and your clinician first. Many families find the course improves follow-through between sessions.
Plan for 60–90 minutes total: short videos, quick worksheets, and one weekly practice focus. We design for small, doable steps that fit real life. If you miss a week, your progress saves and all replays are available anytime.
The course is parent-led—your child doesn't need to attend. You'll learn environmental and communication shifts that reduce resistance indirectly. As stress eases at home, children often become more willing to collaborate.
You get a structured roadmap, expert feedback, and accountability—not random advice. Tools include age-adjusted scripts, trackers, case studies, and clear sequencing so you implement in the right order. It saves time and reduces trial-and-error.
Yes. You'll learn how to partner with schools, request accommodations, and plan returns after incidents. We provide email templates, meeting scripts, and ways to align home and school strategies. Advocacy basics help you feel prepared and confident.
We focus on root causes—skills, stressors, and unmet needs—so strategies last. Coaching helps troubleshoot roadblocks in real time. Families who felt stuck often see steady gains once tools match the right lagging skills and stressors.
